一.本課要點(diǎn)及示例

在這一課里, 我們要復(fù)習(xí)被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài); 我們也要談一談美國(guó)的婦女運(yùn)動(dòng), 學(xué)一學(xué) 有關(guān)婦女運(yùn)動(dòng)的詞匯.

現(xiàn)在我們按照慣例先聽(tīng)今天這一課的對(duì)話, 內(nèi)容是說(shuō)亨利跟小女兒琳達(dá)談起了 婦女就業(yè)的問(wèn)題. 請(qǐng)你注意聽(tīng)兩位英文老師的發(fā)音和語(yǔ)調(diào).

F: Dad, did Grandma go to the university when she was young?

M: No, she wasn't encouraged to do that.

F: Why not?

M: Well, at that time it was considered improper for a woman to have a higher education.

Grandma got married when she was eighteen and she spent all her life taking care of her husband and the kids.

F: You mean she never had a job?

M: No, women were told that they could not have a family and a career at the same time.

F: Mother could. She has a family and she is also a teacher. Isn't that a career?

二.被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)復(fù)習(xí)

第一組練習(xí)的內(nèi)容是說(shuō)婦女過(guò)去不準(zhǔn)作的事情, 比方投票, 擁有土地, 追求事 業(yè), 擔(dān)任公職等等. 練習(xí)的作法是老師用 weren't permitted 作一個(gè)句子, 接著 老師念一個(gè)詞組, 學(xué)生就把他聽(tīng)到的詞組代換到原來(lái)的句子里. 在學(xué)生作練 習(xí)的時(shí)候請(qǐng)你也一起作.
